Bangkok trip - July

Went Bangkok for a short vacation with baby in July.

Day 1
We had our first meal at Black Canyon after a nice full body massage.^^

I really like their phad thai!

Had seafood dinner at Chinatown after a long day of shopping.

I love prawns and mayo so this dish is my favourite!!
Looking at these pictures make me crave for our yummy seafood dinner now.

There are many fruit stalls along the main street of Chinatown.
They look fresh and juicy but we didn't try it. :/

Had bird nest soup at this stall cos it's one of the popular stalls there.

After our dessert, we went to Erawan Shine.

Went to the supermarket at Hyatt to get some groceries too.

Look what we saw?

Fake Tim Tam biscuits!!

We ended the night with a foot massage before heading back to our hotel to sleep.

Day 2

Spent the whole afternoon shopping again!
Baby bought me a box of chocolates from Melt me at Platinum mall.

It's pretty much like Royce's chocolates!

Dressed up in the night for dinner with his friends at Siam Paragon.

Wearing Shannon Bodycon dress from gipsy scarlet <3

Baby and his friends

I had this of course!
Salmon + Cream + Pasta = LOVE

Lookie!

Our cute couple baby Mickey and Mini iPhone dustcap!

Speaking of this, I'm sooo disappointed that the headphone dock of the new iPhone 5 is shifted to the bottom.

Just when we can have cute accessories to "hang" on our iPhones, they have to move it to the bottom!
It will look hideous if our cute accessories are all upside down. Arghh :((((

Anyway, after our nice meal, I went to the departmental store to get this new hair styling tool from LeSasha.^^

Power4 lets you create various styles from straight to natural big curls!

Had my sweet treat at this cool ice-cream stall - Milk Solid

My chocolate ice-cream!^^

Went to Lebua at State Tower after that.

Chilled at the roof top sky bar on the 63rd floor.

Took outfit pix in the ladies.

Our drinks :)

The view is breathtaking!

Our hair is really messy throughout the time cos it's really windy!

The only thing that I don't like about this place is that it is awfully packed and they do not allow us to take photos at Sirocco.
We are only allowed to take photos at the sky bar. -.-

Day 3

Lunch at the famous wanton mee stall at Pratunam.

.

The serving is really small, definitely not filling enough for guys.
Baby like it a lot though!

I had braised pork rice instead.
It's really fattening and sinful, but taste sooo good!!

Had crispy crepes after lunch!

Went Asiatique to shop and dine at night.

Chanced upon this cartoon artist and decided to get our portraits drawn :)

Our drawing is almost ready!

While waiting for our drawing, we went shopping!

Bought a new stripe bag which I really like cos it's so roomy~
It's my everyday bag now.

This shop sells unique clocks!

Cute character tees!
Baby bought the Thor 1^^

Met up with Donavon & YeeSze!

Collected our cartoon drawing!

Look at this cute puppy!^^

It's fake btw. LOL

Dinner was at MK Restuarant!

Love their signature duck so much!!
The sauce is amazing~

My meal is never complete without desserts!

Saw this popular ice-cream cafe and decided to check it out.

So many flavours to choose from!!

Cosy cafe with pretty decor~

After Asiatique, we decided to have drinks at Moon Bar (Banyan Tree).
It was a last minute decision and we didn't know that they have dress code.

Guests are not allowed to wear flip flops inside the restaurant and bar. :(((

So, the staff got me shoes to change,

Super sad can!!

Anyway, the restaurant and bar is located on the 61st floor and you will get an amazing view of Bangkok.
It is open air so it literally feels like you're chilling out in the sky.

I had a great time at Moon Bar.^^
It's so much better than Lebua in my opinion, with less crowd and better service.
It's definitely a great place to impress your date.

Day 4

Got up early and went for our long-awaited massage at Health Land.
It's highly-recommended by bb's friends so we decided to give it a try.

Our big and spacious couple room!

We tried their aromatherapy massage and it was a wonderful experience.
The therapists are both very skillful and professional.

Went back to our hotel to change after that so we can have our lunch at Siam Paragon.

Dropped by Erawan again as well.

Camwhored while waiting for bb~

Lunch was at Cafe De Tu at Siam Paragon!
They serve a wide variety of international and thai dishes.

Chanced upon this nice cafe at Central World and decided to have our tea break there.
It's our final stop before we return to Sg~

We wanted to try one of the dessert cafe at Siam Paragon instead but the queue was way too long.
We will definitely try it on our next trip.

Bought these traditional thai shortbread cookies back home cos it's so yummy!

Some of my shopping loots.

Looking forward to my next Bangkok trip with bb.
We're going again next week!^^
Wheeeee~
